Through the server-side storing of flipbook pages as pictures and JSON, this plugin optimizes PDF flipbooks. Additionally, it can create fresh, optimized flipbooks just from a PDF. The PDF text layer and PDF links will function in flipbooks created using PDF Tools, but they will load more quickly than PDF Flipbooks since the pages are loaded directly from the server, eliminating the need to load and process the PDF at runtime. Scripts for PDF.js don’t need to be loaded either. The only real means of protecting your PDF file once it has been optimized with PDF Tools is to retain it on the server.
